Salary: TA Level 2, Grade 3, Point 4 -6  

Annual Salary: £25,185-£25,989 (Actual Salary:  £11,709-£12,074)

Working Hours: 20 hours a week, Term Time Only,

 Fixed term linked to child

Gnosall St Lawrence is a friendly, 1.5 form-entry school with children who are keen to learn and who have excellent learning behaviours. Gnosall St Lawrence is graded as Good by Ofsted.

 

What are we looking for:

 

St Bartholomew’s CE Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant, to support a child with special educational needs within EYFS. The successful candidate will be based at Gnosall St Lawrence CE Primary Academy.

 

We are looking for a child-centred practitioner with:

 

·        Experience of working with children who have a wide variety of educational needs.

·        Experience of working with children who exhibit challenging and complex behaviours, and an understanding of child development and learning.

·         Experience of working with children with communication, severe, profound or complex learning difficulties is highly desirable.

·        Experience of working with children with special educational needs.

·        Ability to support children with specific educational needs.

·        Experience of supporting children in literacy and numeracy.

·        Experience of how to motivate children.

·        Proven successful experience of supporting the raising of standards in school.

·        Wide experience of working with children, including those with special needs and the most able children.

·        Experience of supporting the personal care needs of children.

·        Proven experience of a range of positive behaviour management strategies.

·        The ability to support, lead and inspire children.

·        High expectations of children and a commitment to raising standards.

·        Excellent interpersonal skills.
