The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant (SEND Focus)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our outstanding and highly supportive team at Woodfield Primary School. We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and child-centred Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning, with a particular focus on pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), across our vibrant and diverse school community.
This is a part-time Level 2 Teaching Assistant role (30 hours), with a key responsibility for providing precise, support for children with additional needs to access learning, achieve their individual targets and thrive within our inclusive environment.

The role:
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant with SEND responsibility, you will:
Provide precise targeted support for pupils with SEND, both within the classroom and through tailored interventions during pupils’ class/ social times.
Work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to implement support plans and adapt learning to meet individual needs.
Deliver structured interventions to help pupils close gaps in learning and make strong progress.
Support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development, promoting confidence and independence.
Contribute to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where all children can succeed.
