Salary £30,024 - £33,699 (FTE)
Actual Salary £13,610 - £15,276
19.5 hours per week / 44.85 weeks paid per annum
3 days a week –(ideally with the possibility of extending this subject to the budget)

The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor HLTA, keen to join our fantastic, thriving school. Old Church CE Primary School is a two-form entry, oversubscribed school in Darlaston, with an excellent reputation in the local community for the care, commitment and “going above and beyond” ethos shown to every child and family.
The school is currently graded Good, with Outstanding provision in EYFS (Ofsted, May 2024), and received a glowing SIAMS inspection report in July 2025.
We are looking for:
A HLTA with 5+ GCSEs or equivalent including English, maths and science
Experience working across the Primary School age but predominantly in KS2
Been a successful Teaching Assistant for a minimum of 3 years
Able to work under the direction of the Class Teacher but use initiative when called upon
Be aware of effective strategies to support behavior management
Have a child centered ethos
