What are we looking for:
St Bartholomew’s CE Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic cleaner to join the team at Woodfield Primary School.
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
Key responsibilities:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across designated areas of the school
Undertake a range of cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, polishing, waste disposal, cleaning washroom facilities and replenishing consumables
Clean and care for school furniture and surfaces
Work under the direction of the Site Manager
Attend mandatory training as required
Safely use cleaning equipment and undertake manual handling tasks associated with the role
Ensure all areas consistently meet the required cleaning standards
We are looking for someone who:
Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Is reliable, punctual and organised
Works well both independently and as part of a team
Has a positive and proactive approach
Understands and follows health and safety procedures, including safeguarding
Has previous cleaning experience, although training will be provided for the right candidate
