What are we looking for:

St Bartholomew’s CE Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic cleaner to join the team at Woodfield Primary School.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across designated areas of the school

• Undertake a range of cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, polishing, waste disposal, cleaning washroom facilities and replenishing consumables

• Clean and care for school furniture and surfaces

• Work under the direction of the Site Manager

• Attend mandatory training as required

• Safely use cleaning equipment and undertake manual handling tasks associated with the role

• Ensure all areas consistently meet the required cleaning standards

We are looking for someone who:

• Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness

• Is reliable, punctual and organised

• Works well both independently and as part of a team

• Has a positive and proactive approach

• Understands and follows health and safety procedures, including safeguarding

• Has previous cleaning experience, although training will be provided for the right candidate
