About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader who will play a pivotal role in raising standards and driving school improvement. As Assistant Headteacher, you will:
Lead on the development and strategic oversight of the core curriculum (English, Maths, Science).
Drive innovation and excellence in the wider curriculum, ensuring it is broad, balanced and inspiring for all learners.
Support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team in shaping the school’s vision and ethos.
Play a key role in teaching and learning, modelling outstanding classroom practice and mentoring colleagues.
Contribute to school-wide monitoring, evaluation and assessment practices.
Be an outstanding classroom practitioner in your own class.
We are looking for someone who:
Is an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven record of raising standards.
Has experience in leading one or more core subjects and developing curriculum initiatives.
Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive, values-based education in a Church school context.
Is an excellent communicator and team player with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
Has the vision, energy and drive to inspire both staff and pupils.
