About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader who will play a pivotal role in raising standards and driving school improvement. As Assistant Headteacher, you will:

• Lead on the development and strategic oversight of the core curriculum (English, Maths, Science).

• Drive innovation and excellence in the wider curriculum, ensuring it is broad, balanced and inspiring for all learners.

• Support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team in shaping the school’s vision and ethos.

• Play a key role in teaching and learning, modelling outstanding classroom practice and mentoring colleagues.

• Contribute to school-wide monitoring, evaluation and assessment practices.

• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner in your own class.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven record of raising standards.

• Has experience in leading one or more core subjects and developing curriculum initiatives.

• Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive, values-based education in a Church school context.

• Is an excellent communicator and team player with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.

• Has the vision, energy and drive to inspire both staff and pupils.
