Monday to Friday 11.30am to 1.30pm, term-time only

Salary: £17824 (full-time equivalent)


Gnosall St Lawrence CE Primary Academy are a part of St Bartholomew’s Multi-Academy Trust. We are a growing 1.5 form entry school in the heart of a large rural village with strong links to our local church and village communities.


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic person as a catering assistant to cover maternity leave in our school kitchen, who has excellent teamwork skills, and to work under the direction of the Catering Manager. 


The role will include:

  • Basic preparation of food and beverages. 

  • Basic cooking under supervision.

  • Serving meals.

  • Setting up and clearing away service points and dining equipment and furniture.

  • Washing up.

  • Cleaning kitchen, scullery, dining area, access areas, furniture and catering equipment.


You will need to have the following skills:

  • Enthusiastic team approach

  • Good communication skills

  • Be well organised

  • Willing to take responsibility

  • Ability to learn from others and experiences

  • Ability to relate to children and adults

  • Promote the child centred ethos within the school.
