Teaching Assistant – General Level 2 (Ref: SBMAT35)

15 hours per week - (Monday to Friday – 9am to 12pm) Term Time Only
 

Grade 3 SCP 3 to 6 (Actual Salary: Between £6,227 - £6,514pa).
 

12 month Fixed Term Contract from 1st September 2021


Woodseaves CE Primary Academy is a small, family orientated village school, situated on the outskirts of West Staffordshire. From September 2021, we are actively looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to support our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils.

 

Working under the supervision of the Teacher, you will be responsible for supporting the pupils in class as well as working with small groups, delivering structured interventions.

 

You will need to have the following skills/experience:

 

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience working as a Teaching Assistant;

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills;

  • Excellent inter-personal skills;

  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team;

  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the working environment;

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or similar.
